In this session, you'll create a hand-tied bouquet using a curated selection of diverse seasonal flowers. We will be recreating Modern Nature's signature bouquet style, where no flower is repeated and every stem is chosen for its unique character, texture, and movement. Together, they create a bouquet that feels layered, textural, harmonious, unique, natural, and full of life.
Our focus will be on slowing down and observing the natural beauty of flowers.
This session falls on the Summer Solstice — a brief moment in the year when daylight reaches its peak and gardens are overflowing with abundance. Many of the flowers we'll be working with are available for only a few short weeks. This is an opportunity to meet them at this particular point in time — to get to know them, observe them closely, and celebrate the incredible diversity of the natural world.
We will explore color, texture, movement, and the relationship between different botanical forms, learning how seemingly different elements can come together in harmony. Through thoughtful flower selection, gentle observation, and hands-on creating, we hope to create a welcoming space to pause and enjoy the creative process.
Our experience will be complemented by Kava Sangria from Kwento and some sweet treats.
All materials are included, and you'll leave with your bouquet, hopefully a calmer mind, and the skills to recreate the hand-tied spiral technique at home.
To maintain a calm, meditative, and comfortable atmosphere, this class is limited to just 4 participants in our small SoDo studio space. Detailed directions for finding the studio will be emailed within 24 hours of your purchase. Please plan to spend approximately 1.5–2 hours with us. The session begins at 3 PM.
All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable, but you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person if you are unable to attend.
Who's Leading the Sessions
Hi, my name is Anna, and I am the owner and floral designer behind the floral studio Modern Nature.
I've been working with flowers for more than five years. As an introvert with a deep connection to nature, I was naturally drawn to this industry and the quiet lessons it has to offer.
I believe we can learn a lot from plants. How something so small can break through the soil, turn toward the light, and continue growing regardless of the conditions.
I invite you to join me in my studio to slow down and spend some time with natural forms. This is not a class to take too seriously, and no experience is needed. My goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming space where we can explore creativity, resilience, calm, and curiosity through flowers and other natural materials.

Take a break from productivity, create something with your hands, and let nature lead the way. I’ll be guiding you through the process, with my European accent as part of the experience :)
