Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Modern Nature, each flower arrangement is thoughtfully designed and made-to-order using fresh, seasonal flowers sourced specifically for you. Because we work with perishable materials, our delivery process is designed to ensure your flowers arrive in peak condition.

1. Delivery Areas

We deliver across the Greater Seattle Area, including Tacoma, Bellevue, and surrounding neighborhoods.

  • Bouquet/flower delivery is $20 within the Greater Seattle area.

  • Event flower delivery is calculated separately depending on the size and number of arrangements. Please request a quote via email.

If you are outside our standard delivery zones, please contact us for availability and pricing.

2. Delivery Times

All delivery dates and time windows are estimates. We do our best to meet your requested delivery window, but times may vary due to:

  • Traffic

  • Weather

  • Unforeseen circumstances

We contact the recipient on the day of delivery to confirm a preferred time. Please ensure you provide a valid phone number at checkout and that the recipient is available, as orders cannot be canceled on the day of delivery (see our Cancellation & Refund Policy).

If the recipient is unavailable at the approved delivery time, the arrangement may be left at the porch, front desk, or mailroom. Once delivered, responsibility for the flowers transfers to the recipient.

3. Order Processing

All orders are made-to-order. Flowers are purchased and arranged specifically for each order.

  • Next-day delivery is available if the order is placed before 8 PM.

  • Some days may be unavailable due to high demand or event preparation.

Orders cannot be canceled on the day of delivery.

4. Shipping & Handling Fees

All delivery fees are non-refundable, as they cover labor, transportation, and perishable product handling.

5. Subscriptions & Recurring Orders

Flower subscription deliveries follow the schedule selected at purchase. We contact the recipient prior to the first delivery to confirm a preferred schedule.

  • Subscription deliveries may be frozen or rescheduled with at least 72 hours’ notice prior to the upcoming delivery.

  • Subscriptions cannot be canceled once confirmed.

6. Special Instructions

If your delivery requires special handling or specific instructions (e.g., leaving at a neighbor, gate codes, or specific porch location), please provide these at checkout.

We are not responsible for delays or the condition of flowers if instructions are incomplete or incorrect.
