Return & Cancellation Policy

At Modern Nature, each arrangement is thoughtfully designed and made to order using fresh, seasonal flowers sourced specifically for you. Because we work with perishable materials and custom designs, the following policies apply.

Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be canceled on the day of delivery.

We purchase flowers specifically for each order, and preparation begins in advance to ensure quality and freshness.

Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date.

Approved cancellations will be refunded minus a 5% credit card processing fee. This fee is non-refundable to us and is retained by the payment processing provider.

Freezing & Rescheduling Orders

Instead of canceling, your order may be frozen and rescheduled within six (6) months of the original delivery date.

To unfreeze and schedule a new delivery date, please contact us at [your email address]. Rescheduled deliveries are subject to availability and delivery zone coverage at the time of rebooking.

Delivery Address Changes

If plans change, we are happy to deliver your arrangement to a different address.

Address change requests should be submitted as early as possible and must fall within our delivery areas. Additional delivery fees may apply depending on the new location.

If the recipient is unavailable at the approved delivery time, the arrangement may be left at the porch, front desk, or mailroom at the delivery location. In such cases, we cannot be responsible for the condition or appearance of the flowers after they have been delivered and left unattended.

Fresh Flower Orders

All floral arrangements are final sale.

We source our flowers intentionally and do not keep or sell blooms that were purchased more than five (5) days prior. We deeply respect both our clients and the natural life cycle of living plant materials.

When receiving a signature bouquet from Modern Nature, please understand that different flowers have different natural lifespans. Some varieties may begin to fade within 3–4 days, while others may maintain their vase life for up to 2–3 weeks. This variation is natural and part of working with seasonal, living materials.

Our role is to create an exceptional experience at the moment of delivery — to impress, to evoke emotion, and to celebrate the present. Flowers are not products with fixed expiration dates, and longevity cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on environmental conditions and care after delivery.

If your order arrives damaged or you have a quality concern, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and include a photo of the arrangement. We will gladly review the situation and offer a replacement or store credit when appropriate.

Due to the seasonal and perishable nature of flowers, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges beyond this timeframe.

Flower Subscriptions

All subscription purchases are final and cannot be canceled once confirmed.

Subscription deliveries may be rescheduled or temporarily frozen with at least 72 hours’ notice prior to the upcoming delivery date. Frozen subscriptions must be resumed within six (6) months.

Once a subscription order has been prepared or dispatched, it cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded.

Custom & Event Orders

Custom arrangements, installations, and event florals are non-refundable. Changes may be accommodated depending on timing and product availability.
